About:
Jared Geraghty is a London-based artist exploring themes of queerness, love, body image, spirituality, and personal memory in his work. His multi-disciplinary practice spans across painting, sculpture, print-making, collage, and spoken-word performances.
His work is shaped by a passion for storytelling, with his poetry planting the seed for many of his ideas and often weaving into the work itself. Through his art, he presents confessional and deeply intimate insights into his life as a queer man. He treads the line between reality and fantasy, intrigued by ideas of warped vision and distorted perception.
Recent pieces engage with art as a cathartic practice, with healing spells and rituals being incorporated into both the creation and display of his work.
Jared has completed a BA in Art and English Literature at the University of Reading.
